The City’s “Corral the Grease” Program

The City’s “Corral the Grease” program is an education and community engagement program designed to reduce sewer overflows within the City. Sewer overflows from cooking grease and wipes being disposed into our wastewater system is an especially large problem in the Fort Bend/SW Houston area. This problem can be avoided if residents properly dispose of these items, so we are working to educate the area’s residents.
