One Clean Houston

Illegal dumping poses a persistent threat to the well-being and quality of life in many of our beloved communities within the City of Houston. We refuse to let this issue compromise the health, safety, and vitality of our neighborhoods. Every resident deserves to call a clean and safe environment home, and we all share the responsibility of preserving our communities, free from illegal dumping and environmental hazards. Together, we can forge a united front for a cleaner, safer Houston!

Under the collaborative efforts of City departments and dedicated stakeholders, our Administration has meticulously crafted a comprehensive strategy to combat illegal dumping and revitalize our neighborhoods. We proudly introduce the "One Clean Houston" program, which centers on three crucial pillars of impact:

  1. Rapid Cleanup
  2. Enhanced Enforcement
  3. Prevention and Education

The City has already embarked on various initiatives, but it's essential for our departments to work hand in hand with our community members, non-profit organizations, industry partners, and other government bodies to transform the vision of "One Clean Houston" into a tangible reality.

For a detailed roadmap and resources to support this initiative, please find the full toolkit in "Helpful Documents."

Join us in this noble endeavor, and let's build a cleaner, safer, and more vibrant Houston together!
