EP Hill Clean Up Day

Join us Saturday, February 19th for a volunteer event at E.P. Hill Park, 4800 Glory Land, Houston, TX 77033, hosted by 50/50 Park Partners. The event will focus on beautifying the park, and both community members and employees of Chevron will work together to make the improvements.

Special thank you to Chevon for their 3-year commitment to 50/50 Park Partners! The event is from 8:30 AM to 12 PM. Park beautification projects include mulching trees, de-littering, cleaning up the fence line, and more to keep E.P. Hill shining bright! Waivers will be provided at check-in, and minors must have a guardian with them. To register, email Oneika Peters, Oneika.Peters@houstontx.gov.

On January 7, 2021, a Community Listening Session was held during the Sunnyside Complete Community meeting to gather community input on potential future improvements to E.P. Hill Park. During the listening session, we discussed the existing conditions of the park, described future safety improvements, and heard from attendees on their priorities for this park. To view materials from the Community Listening Session, visit Community Listening Sessions webpage.

E. P. Hill Park is part of the 50/50 Park Partners initiative. Led by the Office of the Mayor, Houston Parks & Recreation Department, Greater Houston Partnership, and Houston Parks Board, 50/50 Park Partners will improve Houston’s neighborhoods, one park at a time. The heart of 50/50 Park Partners is the creation of long-term relationships for sustained impact between businesses, communities, and parks, improving the quality of life for Houstonians for decades to come.
