Sunnyside Energy seeks a self-motivated, organized, and well-spoken intern to assist with permitting and development tasks for the Sunnyside Energy solar project. The intern will play an important role in the process of organizing permits required for transforming the former Sunnyside landfill into a utility-scale solar array. This is a part-time (~10 hours/week), paid internship opportunity. The schedule of work hours will vary depending on the task. Preference will be given to residents of Sunnyside and those that have an understanding of solar energy and/or project development basics, such as that offered by the 10-week Sunnyside Solar Installation Training Program.
